Re: Thoughts for the new year - the plastics problem

I have been thinking about this too. I can’t help feeling that the main responsibility lies with the manufacturers and companies that utilise plastic products. I don’t understand how they can create a problem and leave it to others to clear up their mess

Re: Dry January

I certainly drank too much over Christmas and new year , but only had a thimble full of mulled wine on New Year’s Day. Since then , (1 whole day hahaha) nothing. I am really going to try to get out of the habit of having wine in the evenings. I do find it helps me relax, so need to find a substitute.

Thanks Linda. I think it’s the most spectacular so far! I’ve now finished the border, so onto my next project!

Re: Crochet blanket

Thanks everyone :-D

Mo, the octagons are all the same. The colours tend to highlight certain bits I think.

Gwenoakes, the border is quite plain, just dc and tr, but it frames it nicely. I’m going to leave it until after Christmas now.

Re: Sudden none laying

Two out of my three have stopped laying recently. One is 6yeRs old, so I doubt if she will come back into lay next year! Mind you, I was surprised when she did this year, and had an egg most days from her! The other one is moulting, and then no doubt she will go broody again. Not the best layer! The...
