It was very cold here Sunday night, the frost was very thick. So yesterday hubby hot some parafin and for the first time since we got the greenhouse 4 years ago we gas a heater in there. It feels much better in there this morning. It is switched off now.

Had a good day, cleaned inside and outside of greenhouse and poly tunnel with jeyes fluid.
Planted, carrots and spring onions in the poly tunnel.
Sowed gardeners delight tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, courgettes which will be potted on and put outdoors when it's warm enough.

22/3/2014 Planted first early spuds Pentland Javlin and Rocket, in tubs and bags, they will be kept in the poly tunnel until it's warmer outdoors. Well done, I find keeping active and watching my weight a constant struggle, but we can do it if we try. And it certainly does make us feel better.
