I have been getting three eggs a day from my three girls most days, but the last ten days, one has stopped laying regularly, and I can't find out which one. There is a fox around, so they are confined to their run.

I give my eggs away, to friends and my wonderful neighbour. Don't feel that I can sell them, partly because we have a free range egg farm at the other end of the village, and my eggs are dirty.

Poor little girls

There have been so very many little girls and one boy gone to the Rainbow Bridge this past fortnight. I am very new to keeping hens, but is it the cold, beastly weather that they just can't fight against?
