Orphaned Baby Elephants Make Me CryOrphaned Baby Elephants Make Me CryI just cant help it....just one look and I start! I watched a programme earlier this week about starting up a new reserve in Africa and just when I wasn't prepared they snook in the baby elephant distressed because its mother had died. The capture and transport went without a sniffle but I could hardly see through the tears by the time it got to the orphanage and the others came back from a mud bath. They put their trunks through the bars to greet the new arrival...my face red, my eyes sore and tears running down my face! I blame Dumbo!
When is a chicken not a chicken?....when its a battery hen!
Re: Orphaned Baby Elephants Make Me CryI find it hard to watch those types of programmes, loved that series with Michaela Strachan (sp?) at the elli orphanage. Awwwww, poor mites and the majority of their problems have been caused by mankind.
