Some of your cats really do hunt big time. I don't know how I'd cope with a rat being brought in, let alone a bat flapping about. yike* I hate what Mistie does, but what did I buy her when a kitten? A mouse on a rope, that I happily swung about for her, thinking how cute. {warn}
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

Imo, with cats, it wouldn't have mattered if you didn't.

My two are house cats, and I really don't miss this at all!! Charlie, my last little cat, used to bring them in, alive and dead. He also used to bring me sponges... goodness knows where he used to get them from!

Somebody mentioned a Maine Coon earlier and it reminded me of my friend's cat. She has a huge Maine Coon, and one day she was looking out the kitchen window to see a roe deer running across the garden, followed closely by the cat! :-D
