Not yet but I get so excited when I see the first ones. Perhaps still a bit early. At least my outside loo is still useable for humans. Once they start nesting it is far to dodgy. Have had 2 lots nesting in it for years now.

We saw "something" last Easter Sat. at Strumble Head in Pembrokeshire.
It was on the cliffs, we wondered if it was a Sand Martin ?
Also last weekend in the valley we live in further up the coast. I always get them confused , could have been Swifts?

Spotted our first one yesterday in the barns. Last year I counted 50 plus, each year there seems to be more and more. Here we go again moving horse rugs etc so they dont get pooped on.

Will give the cats a warning in readiness as when the cats walk over the courtyard the swallows dive bomb them yike* They get really, really close, as in a couple of inches from the cats head. The other year our cat Harry used to catch them as they swooped by him which wasnt very nice to see.

)c( One flew over my back garden this morning , looking quite magnificent as it fought the wind ,looking like a Harrier Jump Jet on a bombing run.
