HawfinchHawfinchQuite excited and pleased here today, we spotted what we thought was a hawfinch in the garden yesterday, today it has returned and we have just sat watching it for the last twenty minutes. It has been happily taking the remaining dried grapes of the vines and joining in with the chaffinches, sparrows, blackbirds, great and blue tits that are enjoying the food and treats we have out for the chickens. One more bird identified, the list is growing slowly

Re: HawfinchGosh, lucky you, beautiful birds.
Here in the UK., a similar bird, the Waxwing is making a great winter for birdwatchers around the Country, more than many previous years. There's some popping up around Kent, but I have yet to see one. Sounds like you're in a good spot there Trev. Richard New Member?
