Easy guessing game!

Post by Mallard »

Treated myself to a new gadget for the plot.
I expect most of you will know what it is?

Mallard,
Too easy, it's a bottle of wine with a glass holder and glass, to facilitate wonky rows of veg.

A wine glass that doubles as a rain guage? *urp*

Hello Mallard,
Those are foreign thingys I believe. I think saying I have a hectare sounds less painfull than I've got a couple of acres. )j;

Sorry forgot the last bit.

1 tonne to 1 hectare is 1000kgs or 2205 lbs to 100 acres.

Is your new allotment 100 acres then? How are you getting on with it? I am quite envious. I use to have an allotment but had to give it up when I had stomach surgery (well before that actually) cos I could`nt do the digging any more.

Lorna,
1 hectare = 100 acres??? I thought it was just under 2.5 acres but I never did get the hang of metric as I was taught a mish mash at school, miles, yards, feet, inches, fluid ozs, pints and gallons but only millimeters and centimeters in the new stuff.

My (half) plot is 60 feet by 16½ feet. I might just get google to metricate it!
The measuring jar doesn't have inches. ^b:
