Cheers Steve, When I first started clearing it, I would always get "your crackin on with that mate" as people passed my plot
I would often have a bit of crack replying " well our lass has done most of it, she can take a concrete air raid shelter down in a day,and if you know anyone who needs a brickie, she can lay a 1000 bricks a day, or she,ll do any any garden clearing jobs cheap" You could see they wern,t quite sure if I was joking or not at first :-D :-D

Bob, I've got half a garden to clear and around 300 bricks to lay, so send her over here for the day. :-D )t'
If a man is alone in the garden and speaks, and there is no woman to hear him, is he still wrong?

Thankyou Mallard, We also still have a few plot holders that just pay the rent, but as the demand for allotments has increased our local council are coming down a bit tougher on unkept gardens.

What a credit to you Bob. Could you ask your other half to come to our village and grit the roads here, please, when she has finished on the M62.

Great, Bob, but isn't three o'clock a little too early? She must have got lost on the way, don't see her around.
