Mildew - best treatment, organically speaking?Mildew - best treatment, organically speaking?Hi all. Our vines have succumbed to mildew this year, giving little or no fruit. Although I have a box of proprietary chemical spray, I'd be interested to know if there's an organic alternative?
TIA Cheers,
Stu. citricidalTry something called citricidal, it is grapefruit "seed" extract, not grapeseed extract, we use it at work as a bioside, just google it & you'll get all it's uses on there, it's fab stuff, i give it to the girls, clean with it in, mouth wash with it, everything.
Cheers
mel x Mildew - best treatment, organically speaking?I have heard of using milk - for clothing which has mildew. I expect it would work then for plants.
Yay I'm helping!
This is the show I saw it on with the info- http://www.abc.net.au/gardening/stories/s1063733.htm Apparently it's MORE effective than 'conventional' treatments - makes you wonder why chemicals are used at all There's a later one here, which says organic milk is best http://www.abc.net.au/gardening/stories/s1484689.htm |
