I think some of you can't read :!:
The greenhouse was on its own roof, not next door's roof. At least that's what I decided after I reread it. At first I had an interesting picture of neighbours being woken up by people removing greenhouse from their roof.

We put a wooden shed outside the village hall for the Playgroup bikes and it blew away. Had to resite it in a sheltered spot (blocking the light from a window, which was why we didn't put it there in the first place).

I have a 4-tier mini greenhouse for my seedlings. Many a time it has tried to fly away. Now I keep it weighed down with a growbag or some heavy ceramic pots on the bottom shelf.

Here is the greenhouse, all roped securely to the fences (both at the sides and behind!) Note the ENORMOUS hole in the fence that is STILL THERE!!! (see Ask Dave thread)

This is my OH stealing my tea. He is sitting on my bargain tool stool I got in the boot sale this morning

Here is Jessdog sniffing out the best lazing spot for the summer:

And finally here is my very frugal raised bed - it is made from half the box my shed came in sitting on top of two mini pallets:

It's so nice to finally have some sort of garden to share with you all!!

It is a windy day. One of the door zips has split open. Think I may have to admit defeat. Or can anyone suggest how I can mend it??

Sorry about before - it was me who couldn't read!

I think I've posted somewhere that the dog has eaten one half of the door zip. I am just going to leave it. When I want the door shut I will just put some bricks on the bottom.

Well. We had the worst winds for ages this week - how typical. The greenhouse has ripped on both sides at the front where the guy ropes are attached. Every single eyelet that was tent pegged to the grass has been ripped out. 2 plastic connectors cracked, and several poles came loose.
BUT
IT'S STILL STANDING!!!!!!! )c(
Am going to carry out some repairs with my trusty roll of duck tape tomorrow.

I wish I read this before I bought mine! I have a similar green house to yours Babycakes and it too has taken flight across the garden, sending plants scattering. We weighted it down but the wind just tore the plastic. I dont really have anywhere more sheltered so I supose I'll just have to get the husband to build a new one!
