Hi many tubs of spreadable butter will I need / loaf of thin sliced bread? We are having a party next weekend.

Can't help as I don't use spreadable butter. I don't know what they put in it to make it that way it sounds too chemical.

Half of one I am guessing depending on the thickness of the slices. But if you do buy too much - it will not be a problem as I am sure that like most spreadable products they will have a long shelf life.

I haven't used it either I am afraid.

Good guess. I decided to just get the one and use butter softened in the microwave if I ran out. Two and a half loaves just about used it up.

We had a great party / folk dance. All the guests brought plates of food to suppliment my sandwiches and cakes (S***s 'Taste the Difference made with free range eggs of course), so all my packets of long shelf-life spares came home again, and I have a larder full of treats.
