Black and fairly strong. I have cut way back on my coffee lately. About 4-5 times a year I put in sugar and cinnamon and whipped cream and a bit of chocolate, maybe. It's like a dessert to me when I have it that way :-D

OK!

Blackest and strongest, utterly unadulterated.

I've just worked out how to get a cup of hot jolt out of the machines at work - restretto first thing in the morning is sometimes essential!

Sometimes sucked through amaretti (if I am in need of a sugar jolt too) or biscotti.

Reminds me, must make more of them!

I like mine strong & black as well. Espresso for preference - I love my little stove-top espresso maker. PP - your original post reminded me of trips to Aberdeen when I had a friend there. We went quite often to a particular cafe, and I would order an espresso every time - the man behind the counter would look at me oddly, and then say 'just so you know ... an espresso is just a little cup of very strong coffee ... it's a really little cup' and then seem very surprised when I still insisted that that was what I wanted. I would stay in Aberdeen for a couple of weeks, go to that cafe every say, often more than once, order the same thing every time, and still get the same little spiel.

I like cappuccino. Made from my espresso machine.

Instant, it has to be strong and a decent brand, dash of milk, no sugar, I'm sweet enough.

Tassimos are good.
But in the real word.. strong, with milk, no sugar.

Also like it made with hot milk, but only occasionally.

My friend takes his coffee black with about fifteen sweeteners ... I once made the mistake of picking up his cup - never ever again ... I always make a point of using different mugs for us now!

From my Dolce Gusto machine , either cappo or latte . Not every day - weekends and when I need a cheer me up - I figure the cost works out at 50p a cup - much dearer than instant but way way cheaper than going to a coffee shop. That machine was the best present to me from me .
