I wouldn't be without mine. great for soups containing pulses, casseroles etc. Had a Prestige one for years, but when I couldn't buy the sealing rings for it any more I replaced it with a german one called Fissler from Bentalls. It's brilliant! Had to adapt the cooking time for all my recipes as it cooked twice as fast. Soup/casserole in 10 mins, Xmas pud in 1 1/2 hours, etc. NEVER use for veg, though, unless you like them mushy/pureed!

I have one, it was a wedding present. I posted on here ages ago, asking people whether I should keep it or ditch it. I have since moved house, still own the pressure cooker, but have not yet used it. When I first got it, I used it a few times, mainly for steamed puddings.
I am pleased that you have reminded me about it though - I shall make it my mission to use it (when I find it ... I think it's in a box ... along with pretty much everything else).

I used to have one that I got from a boot sale, never used it though as too scared it might blow up and contents be splattered across kitchen {rofwl}

We used to use ours all the while and then it fell out of favour for some reason. I think Mrs Fab let it boil dry and the bottom went slightly round so didn't sit our electric hob properly :-D

I think we still have it somewhere, I will have to dig it out and look at the damage again. If it bad I'll throw it out - I hate hoarding unused things.
