Post by manda »

Toby took Josh out fishing yesterday morning (there are lakes near us that only the children can fish where they put in Salmon a regular basis)...and he brought back a couple of medium size Salmon...so they are now filleted and in the fridge curing ..

Oh gosh , well done Josh, my dad and grandad were keEn fishermen, never forgotten the rather large eel my grandad caught and hung on the caravan door, YUCK.
I must be a bit of a heathen because I don`t like smoked salmon and I don`t like trout but nice piece of cooked salmon with some salad and new potatoes is a dish to die for in my book.

He is a lovely boy ...I know I'm biased but he is...he amazes me how much he can concentrate with a fishing rod or a bow at such a young age but he just loves it.

Nice salmon, but I think the cutie who's holding the fish outshines them :-D
