I finally got around to making some chicken stock in a slow cooker. As I generally find it cheaper to fillet off the breast meat forma whole bird (and the legs) ended up with three carcasses in the freezer. Mrs S-S was beginning to complain about the amount of room there were taking up so I chopped them up and gave them seven hours in the slow cooker with stock vegetables. We’re having chicken and vegetable soup for our tea tonight.
