Today I have made a start on making damson wine. I've never made it before but it sounds good and should have a beautiful colour when finishled.
I've also made 8 jars of damson jam which is a family favourite. I picked 11lbs of damsons yesterday and am now fed up with the sight of them. I have told people at the allotments to help themselves but any left will go into the freezer. I have enough left myself to make a bottle of damson gin for Christmas. So good
