How do you make Angel cake

My little boy absolutely loves angel cake so thought I would make some but does anyone know how to make the sponge really white? sorry if its a daft question.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_cake - wikipedia has some interesting information about Angel cake, and if you check out at the bottom of the article, there are 2 recipes. Apparently the "whiteness" is due to the fact there are no egg yolks, but you need an awful lot of egg whites (from something like 10-14 large eggs :shock: )

Never made it myself, so I don't know how they cakes turn out

You could use packs of dried egg white which makes up with water to act just like fresh

I fancy having a go at battenburg which my kids love - easy just have yellow and pink for that one )t'
