Tell us when dinner is served and we'll be right over )t' It sounds delicious, although how you are going to fit all those veggies in that cavity will be a miracle (it's not a turkey LOL!) Personally I'd leave them out & cook seperately but the herbs, butter & lemon would go down very nicely, and you'll end up with some lovely flavoured juices - have a tray underneath in case they leak out the foil 8)

I did one 3 New Year's Eve's ago. I put little prawns and herb butter inside then wrapped it up in pastry (I cheated and bought the ready-made stuff) and put it in the oven. It was lovely with some baby new potaoes (with extra herb butter) and broccoli

I buy a whole salmon when they are on offer (usually at Christmas and Easter), and cut it into steaks, wrap individually, and freeze. I get around 12 steaks per fish.

So much easier, and about a quarter of the price of buying fresh salmon steaks. And I roast the tail piece with just butter and lemon - scrumptious!

I like it done on the barbeque, wrapped in tin foil, with lemon slices. I have done it in the oven also.
