Gwen, I haven't commented here because it was all so much out of my depths . I do have to say, however, that I am totally in awe of you and your daughter for committing so much time, energy, love and not least money into trying to help Lexi achieve a life that she will eventually enjoy. My goodness my hats is well and truly off to you.
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end . Quote from the proprietor of the The best exotic Marigold Hotel for the elderly and beautiful

Thanks guys. You made me blush re the 'hats off', Annie and thank you very much for that comment. I am a stubborn old so and so and I am sure Clare takes after me, so in these type of instances I am sure it does help. LOL
Having a few probs getting the fetching yellow band on her when she is out walking, so warming her up on the courtyard first, putting fetching yellow band on then walking, which is working. Talk about thinking outside the box. LOL She has some very tiny jumps to walk over now and is enjoying doing those exercises. The physiotherapist in Herts is asking all her work aquaintances to see if she can find a hydrotherpy pool with the underwater treadmill nearer to us which is very nice of her, so maybe we will be able to do exactly the right thing in that direction. Cant remember if I put this before, but she rushed into the vets last Friday, so hopefully her mind has not been too tramatised by everything.
She has taken to everything with such gusto and just loves doing different things and still enjoying her RC food, so upwards and onwards from here on. Once again, thanks everyone, you have been soooo much help and support it has been brilliant.
Just a little update. Lexi went to her second hydrotherapy yesterday evening and was soooo much better, she rushed through the door and went straight to the edge of the pool, bless her. The fear seems to have diminished and she swam for the time she was in there and played with the toys, so another tick for the box.
They have made one concession and that is that they dont shampoo and bath her after the session, just rinse her off and dry the best they can. She came home in a fetching bright red wicker coat - its one that takes the moisture off her like horses have and she wore it like a star........she did look funny though. LOL She will after next week go twice a week which is what the vet/physiotherapist want.
Sorry to bore you and please say if you dont want anymore updates, I will understand......honest. Thanks.
That's excellent news about last night's session. Go Lexi
