My House & Pet Sitting duties (not for the squeamish)!

Post by Richard »

My Ashford House and Pet Sitting includes one cat.

When doing the same at my daughter's house in Netley, Southampton, things are slightly different..

Louie the no brainer..
Image

Jessie, Poppy and Chillie (the Emlea was just to wind my daughter up!)..
Image

Derek the Dragon does extreme poos)..
Image

Shelley the Tortoise (like sleeping behind the PC)..
Image

Spots the Gheko (doesn't do much, bit boring really)..
Image

All this of course, means these as well..

Oh well, probably not as messy as the Dressing Rooms at Kent Cricket Club !!

Well you are not sitting watching the TV much then.
All beautiful and much better, having Grand dad look after them.

Oh I love a houseful of pets - altho there's not enough hours in the day sometimes to look after them all - took me two hours tonight when I got in from work to sort out dog/cats/chickens before I finally got to sit down {rofwl}

Lovely pictures - Louie is very cute indeed.

Well, if you aren't watching the cricket, watch the grasshopper.

Don't suppose they get through as much water as Daughter's horses, who I've been looking afer for a week.

Richard, as a matter of interest, do you have a favourite amongst them? I am a big dog and cat lover myself but would have a soft spot for Shelley the tortoise. I love the way she is opening her mouth for a lovely tasty bite.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

Richard, have you been sending piccies on FB to your daughter?? Saw poor Louie apparently being dragged behind a train! No wonder the little lad has little legs! {warn}

They're all recovering well apparently :-D :-D :-D

A favourite? Not really, maybe the old cat Chillie (right hand side on picture). He's the only lap cat, 16 years old, virtually blind and deaf, got over being run over two years ago (badly squashed jaw). He still goes over the fence, walks round neighbours gardens, cleans himself OK and eats well.
Every time I've left the house I've said Goodbye to him, but he's still there the next time!!

Louie adores me !! (seriously) :-D

Not sure about the dragon and gheko, don't know enough about them I guess and the tortoise is very low maintenance, reminds me of when we had one back in the 50's.

That was in the days when many had them and it was quite normal to paint your house number on the shell !
