Oh June, so terribly sad to hear this. I know that no matter how much we know it is absolutely the right thing to do, it doesn't make their loss any easier. {hug}

It is so hard to goodbye to our little pets who put so much trust in us. I think you did the right thing, we usually know when it is the right time to let them go.

Just caught up with this June. So sorry you lost Megan {hug} What a lucky little dog to have found you both, it seems you were supposed to bring happiness to each other and that must be a comfort to you {hug}

I have just read about Megan and your compassionate way of coping.
Can I ask how you are dealing with the grief? I have said goodbye to my 19 yr old J, Russell, Tuppence and cannot stop weeping. She had dementia and arthritis, was losing eyesight and hearing but I miss her terribly.
Sorry for placing this Megan's thread but there does not seem to be anywhere to ask how to work through this dark place.
