scooby doo dog.

Post by mrs boodles »

Our poor old Scooby doo dog has had problems with his eye for some time and the vet thinks there is a tumour behind the eye. Tomorrow we have to take him in to have the eye removed. Its going to be a pretty horrible time as there is a possibility he might not make it as he has quite severe heart problems but he is in pain so something has to be done. He is going to have a body xray before they operate to see if he has secondary tumour and if he has we have decided that it would be better to let him sleep on and go over the rainbow bridge.

He is a grumpy old jack Russell, think he has always been grumpy but we love him so much, he has been part of our ives for the past 14 years and I can`t actually imagine him not being here.

Can`t say anymore as feel like I am going to bawl my eyes out. dreading tomorrow and what it might bring. {cry}

Poor little mite, he is probably in pain with it, so removal is the way to go.
Lets hope all goes well for the little chap and they don't find anything sinister either.

What a worrying time for you. I hope that all will, or went well for Scooby and that he will have no more pain from the eye.

Well after a worrying and stressful morning for us the old boy is back, what a tough old thing he is. He looks pretty odd but do I care, absolutely not he is here and that is all that matters.. Although it was a tumour behind his eye there are no secondaries in his body.

The nurses at the surgery were so kind as I was in a state just going into reception with him this morning and having to discuss what I wanted done if the worst came to the worst was a nightmare.

Thank you so much for all your good wishes and kind thoughts. You are all such a support. Hugs to you {hug} {hug} {hug} {hug} {hug}
