ArthurArthurThis is Arthur, who I have applied to adopt.
He is 6 years old, bowing to the children so as not to have health issues. He was an Irish courser and his owner has died. When I applied he had cut his paw. But then the...... WENDY CURSE..... struck again His leg got infected and last week there was talk of amputation. That is no longer an option. As he has an old shoulder injury on the 'other' leg and it would not be able to take all his weight. Talk is about skin grafts and they will make a decision on that in 2 weeks. He is at the vet again today. So please all for him. I don't know how long before he comes home. So it is just Megan and I at the moment. Someone give me a break Please ! http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

Re: Arthurup date needed please.
Bob Re: ArthurHe is having his dressing changed every other day at the moment, Bob. The vet is mildly optimistic that he won't have to have skin grafts, so that is promising.
In the photo below he has a plaster cast on. As the major problem is his Achilles tendon and the cast kept the foot from bending. Sadly Greyhounds have such thin skin, the cast kept rubbing and made sores. So it has to be not used again and only 'ordinary' bandages. Hence it will take a little longer to heal. All being well he should be home with us in about a month's time. http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

Amber. Re: ArthurI have found out a bit more about him, now I have the adoption papers.
He last raced 6th May last year. So not certain if he coursed after that. He raced 96 times, won 13 and was 2ns 17 times. He is 6 on 4th November http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
