I'm holding steady without really trying. Just need to get the urge to get back at it. I have had to buy a couple of jumpers and am really pleased that I can wear them without worrying about the muffin top too much!

Well you know what Linda....they were all gorgeous!!! Iam not sure how many different ones there were but I had to try a bit of each which in the end was a mahoosive pud )sh

Anyhoo I got onto the healthy eating thing and in the last two days I've lost 2kgs of those I've put on so I'm happy....actually I'm VERY happy because I now know 3 things....
1. I can have a mass blow out and I will put on weight (no surprise there!)
2. I can get back onto the healthy eating straight away and lose said weight.

The third thing is probably the most important....I've now gained insight...I don't have to deny myself anything as long as I get straight back into health eating straight after and it of course can't be everyday (more's the pity )grin2( ) but it's enough I can still enjoy the one thing I love and not feel like I'm missing out.

I'm still a work in progress....I think food and I will always be involved in some sort of dance with one trying to lead the other and will probably still feel that when I turn up my toes but without intending it to be last weekend has turned out to be a good lesson can someone please tell me why could I not have got this years ago???

Goodness Linda, I think your celebrations are worse than mine.
Out Friday with our Daughter, dinner last night to a friends house.
Tomorrow is our sons 49th birthday, so today we are off soon to see him and our grand daughter for....lunch.
You have hit it on the head Manda, Once you are where you want to be. You can have a 'blow out' and then get back straight away and lose it again.
My family get exasperated with me and my recurring 5lb. But if I didn't 'mind' it, it would get to 10,15,20 lb.
Good luck everyone for the coming week. )t'
An Indian meal on Friday for me, so I have got to knuckle down again. )t'

So I got on the scales after I decided Christmas was going to be an anything goes time.....well I've put 3 kgs on {rofwl}
I didn't think I'd been that reckless but the scales obviously think differently....ah well I don't mind back on it again after tonight (New Year).
