and a piece of bone has moved

she done it by moving the sofa to hoover behind it
i did say i would have got off the sofa if she had asked

Oh no! How awful. Poor thing.

You will have to make it up to her Dave - champagne, flowers and choccies at least...... :-D

These hoovers are dangerous things - I pushed my front tooth inwards at right angles last year while hoovering. I am sure my dentist didn't believe my story.

Poor you and poor wifie! Fancy being ill at the same time.

This just goes to show that all forms of housework are bad for you, and should be avoided at all costs.

Does this affect her ability to use the remote?

Can't imagine that she ever gets the chance to use it - too busy hoovering and looking after the one who might have to have an operation!

I have to say it really is quite inconsiderate when you have so much wrong with you Dave.

Guess that's married life.

BTW - the Washer's that big white thing with a round window in it, I think.

Richard

PS. Hope she's feeling better, fingers and toes - ooooouch !

Dave,
I insist if you intend to use domestic appliances you must have 100% supervision from the person in charge of domestic matters within the household.
If she is going to stand over you while you do it then it would probably be easier for her to do it anyway. :-D )j;

OMG Dave!!!!!! Are you still needing an operation. You have had a tough old year of it one way or another, I hope you do feel better soon.

Fancy your good lady not being able to hoover under sofa, you a mere slip of a lad as well. Obviously when she is on the mend she will need to start doing a bit of weight training - perhaps she could carry you from one room to another to build her strength up! Well, that would be a good idea, you obviously not being a well man and all that.

Just a thought Dave, but do you need to think about having a 2nd temporary wife just until your 1st one recovers? That way you can have 2 trained up to adminster to your every and many needs.

It may help especially when you have the dreaded man-flu, or if you need extra special nursing post op. She could also help No 1. wife with lifting the sofa ready for hoovering duties!

Sorry to hear about your wife's injury Dave.

If you really need to use the washing machine, just select the dial to 7 - it always works for me.
i hated going to weddings. all the grandma,s would poke me and say "your next".
they stopped doing that when i started doing it to them at funerals.
