That sounds like hard work LOL
If you aim for a smaller plate make half of it veggies, a quarter protein and a quarter carbohydrates.
Home made veg soup for lunch if brilliant, as there is next to nothing in them and are very satisfying.
If any of you want to go to weight watchers their system is so simply.
Every food is given a point, and you are given your own personal number of points per day to keep to.
They also have a no point system, where you can eat all you like in the foods you are allowed. It includes meat, fish etc.

But Dave - you have lost 2 stone
So the weight loss plan MUST have worked confused>

Or did you put the 2 stone on since this thread finished and then lose it again?

(If so you are an unofficial woman - tee-hee cos that's what happens to me every time I try to lose weight)

I have a huge problem with so much food over the Christmas period.

In 11 days I had 5 complete Christmas meals and the rest of the time was forced to eat the left overs plus all those extra's.

The end of the story is that I went up from 10st 7lbs to 10st 8lbs and for someone 6'0" tall, I'm really worried.

Sadly I have put on about 5 lbs over xmas, maybe because my feasting lasted for about 3 weeks  swapped normal muesli and yogurt breakfast for Xmas cake with brandy cream
Luckily I've naturally got fed up with it all (fed up, sorry about the pun, lol) and am eating normally. I bet it takes more than 3 weeks to shift it though.

It has gone now, thank goodness. Once eating as I normally do, I can rein it in.

That's a comfort, Wendy, I thought 3 weeks to pile it on, 6 weeks to shift it. Though I am under doctor's orders not to do to much at the moment, that won't help.
