Glad you know what it is now!

We had 2 cases at work last year, two brothers. First cases we`d seen in about 11 years, so must be rare these days. It did clear up quickly with the ab`s.

I heard when mine were small (in the 70s & 80s) that scarlet fever is less serious than it used to be, in fact some people called it Scarletina.

Glad she's feeling better, the doc will know sooner when the next case comes in.

Well her temperature is back to normal, and the rash has gone down on her chest. Its starting to go down on her back but its still pretty nasty on her arms and legs where she is scratching quite a lot and making it worse.
The antibiotics seem to be working though which is a good thing and at least her temp has gown down.
Fingers crossed it wont be long before she is back to normal again. We are allowed out of quarantine tomorrow )c(

It seems the rash has gone down now. )c( She is much much happier and full of beans again, and the best bit....... No longer contaigeous!!!! We went out yesterday for our first walk since she was ill. She still has some marks on her arms and legs where she scratched so much, but hopefully these will disapear over time.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your support and ideas...... {hug} {hug}
