Hopped on the scales this morning...2.1kgs (4.5lbs) lost ...I've eaten part of the week (Monday to Thursday) and juiced for part of the week. With Christmas coming up I've decided I'm going to change to juicing through the week and then eating over the weekend which means I'll be able to go to BBQ's have Christmas dinner etc and not worry so it'll hopefully keep any weight gain under control....

I'm not going to go crazy over the Christmas and New Year period but I'm going to enjoy myself otherwise what's the point :-D

Good Luck this week everyone

Blooming fantastic again Manda! That is certainly a sensible way of going about it - I had thought about doing the same, sensible during the week then weekends off. Will see how things go.

I suppose it's a bit like doing the 5:2 (?) fasting thing except I use juice....whatever it is I'm not finding it difficult and I'm losing so I'm happy ....but I think I've got into that mindset as well because it definitely feels different this time.....and I think above all that's the most difficult thing to get isn't it? You've only got to look back in this thread to see that with me anyway {rofwl}

Careful with that idea, ladies - remember my yo-yo 4lbs? Largely to do with laissez-faire weekends. Perhaps you aren't as piggy as us, but there's a lot of socialising and alcohol at weekends.

I so agree about the mind-zone, Manda. You're doing really well )t'

I tried to eat a whole steak a couple of weeks ago (probably about a palm and a half size)...couldn't do it so I know I can't pig out any more because the pain after was indescribable...lesson learnt there my stomach has shrunk and so my portions need to do the same.

This week...got on the scales and I've lost 1kg (2lbs) ...I've been eating quite a bit in the last few weeks so I can keep the weight from falling off too quickly...I've found doing this every week has let me lose sensibly.....and I'm not getting fed up of the juicing / nutribulleting.

800g and I've lost 20kgs ..so I'm hoping I can crack that next week >fi<
I tried on some clothes I had from before I had Josh (9)...and they fit ...a whole new wardrobe is starting to appear to me... )c(
Good Luck ladies :-D )t'

Oh dear, that's a mixed blessing, isn't it? Great to get it done, but awful timing :?

Forgot to add my weigh in yesterday...
1.4kgs gone this week .....so 20.6 kgs )c( )c( )c(

I'm working on the principle if they do surgery then the more weight I have off the better from an anaesthetic point of view to so it's win win :-D ...it will be great to get it done.

{rofwl} {rofwl} ...yep melting it away )grin2(

Actually it was really funny - I went to a reunion for a ward I worked on - I've lost weight and obviously after having my head shaved I have short hair...a couple of people didn't recognise me to begin with {rofwl} ...I didn't think I looked that different!

Wow! 20kgs!!!! )c( )c( )c( )c( )c( The full complement this time and well deserved!!

Well done, Manda. That really is an excellent achievement. It sounds like such a simple thing - just stop eating so much, exercise a bit more.....And it IS simple. For a day or two or even a week. But for this long is hugely difficult and takes real strength of character. I think you can be really pleased with yourself on several levels. I bet you feel fantastic. )t'
