drinking tea
drinking teaDoes anyone know why my tummy swells like mad when drinking a cup of tea? Only drink normal tea but sometimes makes me so bloated, can,t do without a cuppa! Have no more than 3 a day.
Don't dream it, BE it....
Am looking forward to welcoming Sunny Clucker to Woodbridge Suffolk!!!!!
Re: drinking teaThis could get a bit personal...........bloating is usually associated with a sluggish bowel and anything with caffeine in can exagerate the problem. You could try drinking fennel/peppermint/chamomile teas
Re: drinking teaI would try drinking decaff tea for a while and see how you get on with it. I've been drinking it for years and can't tell the difference in taste.

If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning
Re: drinking tea
I switched from "normal" tea and coffee years ago and was also expecting headaches! Nothing though! It's all in the mind you know! Chocolate on the other hand is an absolute must! Gives me headaches if I can't have any Slave to 3 children, 1 Greyhound, 1 Cat, 4 rescued hens and a very patient hubby x

Re: drinking teaNo headaches here either ,I did ( some time ago ) sip lots of coke for a tickly cough ,until I found I couldn't sleep ,so I went cold turkey ,had the shakes and eddache like no tomorrow ,but stuck with it ,only lasted a couple of days .But now I avoid all caffine and feel much better for it

Usually Barking Up the Wrong Tree Re: drinking teaI don't think you would get withdrawal symptoms just from 3 cups a day.
I changed from 3 cups a day to 2 redbush and one decaf because I had heart palpitations, and noticed that I didn't have to visit the little girls' room so often Missing my little friend Sunny Clucker
Re: drinking teaAll so far so good, tummy not swelled up nearly as much thanks!!
