Stye

Post by p.penn »

Ouch, I have yet another stye on my eye. I have had such a lot of problems with my eyes since I had some hospital treatment a couple of years back and had to wear some goggles.

Any ideas? }hairout{

Funny you should say that as I have just been told to run and old copper penny on it. :?

PS Wendy - I wonder if white gold would work? A wedding ring sounds slightly less unhygenic than a penny. :?

No Helen hopefully YOU will see !

My Dad used to suffer with styes are they a viral thing ? It does seem that once you get a stye you are then susceptible to them {cry}

I suffer with styes regularly - in fact my lovely friend has christened me "poison blowfish head" because of them (she loves me really :oops: )

I find Brolene eye drops are my best solution (the ointment is better but cannot bear that sticky eye feeling with it) and as hot as I can bear compresses.

They're horrible things, hope it clears up soon {hug}
