ReboundingReboundingHas anyone tried rebounding? I have just bought a book on it as my daughter and her friend both do it. I am not talking about highly whizzy stuff, more gentle, for heath boinging.

Re: ReboundingA bit expensive to start up but then aren't most things and that's just for the boinger. For the ladies you then have to fork out for anti boingers to preserve your good looks and knee caps.

Re: Rebounding
It's an exercise routine using a mini trampoline/trampette. If you are tall and live in a house with low ceilings you may also have to invest in a good quality crash helmet Dom Ali Woks My World
Re: ReboundingI've kept the mini trampoline we had for my daughter when she was small with the idea I might use it to exercise - didn't know it had a special name, though!
Have been a bit cautious about it as I had a knee injury a while back and didn't want to push my luck until things strengthened up a bit, but have been meaning to give it a go. Also a bit concerned about how stong my internal bits are - I know trampolining can cause - ahem! - "problems" once one has had a kid. Would love to know if anyone is trying it, and how they are finding it. It is supposed to make you feel happy, too, as well as exercised. Re: ReboundingIf you are interested Rhubarb, the book I bought was THIS ONE and it is written by an older lady specifically for those with health problems.
As I am falling apart bit by bit, I decided on this gentle one rather than one more suited to olympic contortionists! Helen xx

Re: ReboundingSounds like fun. I wonder why it isn't called trampolining?

Re: Rebounding
Thanks, Helen There are some good vids on youtube too This one is fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfqjs9EVkT0 Re: ReboundingShe's a bit annoying, isn't she? And she does seem to be out of breath almost from the beginning, athough she doesn't seem to have any wobbly bits which is encouraging

I was just interested in the variety of moves she came up with - all I managed to think of when I tried it was boinging gently up and down... Have you bought a boinger yet? Some of them (esp from US) seem to be horrendously pricey - around £300 upwards. Surely a simpler one would do for starting?
Re: ReboundingCrikey! either she's made of steel or she's bound like a mummy If I tried that I'd give myself a black eye
