just got back

Post by Dave »

just got back from seeing my dad
he had a heart attack monday night
he is in colchester hospital
this is his second attack
the last one was about 7-8 years ago
he seems ok and he looks quite well
he is not one to make a fuss(i do not like to make a fuss
when i am ill either :-D )
today he has been told he might have to have a angeogram
last time he had one they fitted 5 stents
and they think one of them might be blocking up
so we play the waiting game again
last time it took 4 weeks of waiting to get him sent up to london
to have it done
if they send him home he becomes an out paitent then the wait will be longer
so he is stuck up hospital waiting

Hi Dave,

Hope all goes well. Let's hope they clear the blockage, maybe some angioplasty or of the like.

The good news nowadays is usually, if you quite ill, they act pretty fast.

Take care.

thanks for kind words
like i have said
its just a waiting game until he goes to london
we are wondering how you put a new stent in(if thats is required)
if the blockage is past were an old stent is
do they push the old stent into a new postion then fit a new one
were the old one was
or do they pull the ond one out then fit 2 new ones

anyone know ???

Hi. wish him well. Papworth have recently announced that they can do it on demand, so lets hope he has the priority treatment.

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.
