At the moment there is not a cure for the cold however you can alleviate the symptoms by taking aspirin. Aspirin will ease that aches and pain and will also dry up the runny nose.

People tell you that aspirin is bad for the stomach as it make it bleed. This is correct if you take aspirin in large amounts over a long period of time. It is still a very good drug though people think it old fashion.

Soluble aspirin is better as it gets into your blood stream quicker, two in water four times a day are a great help.

hope you feel better soon.

I had a real bad case of the flu a few weeks ago, had no strength and it was awful and then it turned into a horrible cold.

I am left with a dry cough when I lye down to go to sleep and feel so exhausted all the time - hope it clears up soon for you and doesn't keep going as long as mine has!
