Stripey bagStripey bagI've made another bag. It started out as three judo belts I bought from a charity shop for 30p each. It's 14 inches across and 12 inches high, the stripes were sewn together with a zigzag stitch on the machine, and the rest is hand sewn. Could be used for a work bag, or college, or a small amount of shopping, or a day out bag.

If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning Re: Stripey bagLooks good and strong -was it very hard to sew as I used to do karate and I know how thick those belts are?

3 children, 3 grandchildren, 3 chooks, 3 fish, a shrimp that thinks its a prawn and a dappy dog. http://www.acountrygrandma.blogspot.com Re: Stripey bagHelen, the machine went through it ok I just butted two stripes together as I was sewing it. The hand sewing was hard, I used string for that, I had to pull the needle through with pliers.
Ilona Re: Stripey bagI like that Ilona- would be good bag for summer all those colours

Re: Stripey bagI haven't sold any yet, Kate, but if I get overrun with them I might be tempted.
