I run stupid long distances...
I run stupid long distances......like 100km races. I'm not fast but I'm determined!
Training is a bit like meditation (just zone out) but with scenery and wildlife to look at. There's no cure for stupidity.
You are as bad as my daughter she runs marathons and her husband the Iron Man.

If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning
Well done you, that's fab, it's such brilliant exercise & calorie burner, but very hard to motivate yourself.
My other half used to be a fattie, he was 20 stone, (before we were together) he lost 7 stone & now keeps himself very fit, he's 6'4" & a big frame but can run a marathon in 3 hours & 27 minutes, he was beaten by a strawberry though he put a bit back on as that was too thin for him, but he always has to fight to keep it off, he likes biscuits too much. Cheers

I ran into a Bar once - really hurt - it was an iron one.
I've been thinking about 100k. What is it exactly that makes you want to run that far. I mean, it hurts, it must take pounds off you. Is it personal or competitive challenge? New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
