Julie, i just notice you are in Salford, where did you get your cottons/ wool from?

My indoor market has some but it's limited. I'd love to find somewhere reasonable to buy, i choose some in JL the other week, and it added up to £44!! for a small baby blanket

I get some by mail order but there is a really good wool shop at Culcheth where you can get lots of bargains - called Black Sheep Wools. A lot of the really nice yarn is very expensive but you can get some bargains at Black Sheep. They have a website as well but it doesn't have all their stock on it. It's not far from Bents Garden Centre so I normally have coffee and a cake at Bents and then go on the the woolshop. Worth a look if you're out that way )t'

Texere Yarns in Bradford is good - they have a website you can order from as well as visiting them in person.
