Wind Vane No2

Post by Shrek »

I hope that you all like this latest effort. Again this is bespoke with not another like it, this one measures 58" tall with a span of 39" and the weight is almost 30lb. It's taken a couple of weeks worth of evenings and fettling and painting still need to be done.

It's looking good but I'd be careful mowing the lawn or you might impale yourself on the pinty bit.

Thanks for the compliment albertajune although I do have 35 years experience in steel fabrication including my apprenticeship. To be quite honest, I firmly believe that anybody (with a little application and practice) can do very similar and yet in their way produce something quite beautiful and unique. The creative streak runs deeply through us all.
