Frugal Filling for Crafters
Frugal Filling for CraftersI wasn't sure wher to put this so mods please feel free to move it if its wrong
A lot of very clever laners are making some gorgeous stuff for presents etc and I thought i would suggest using cheap bed pillows for stuffing them, i once did a draught dog with one I dont know the price of fillings from the haberdashery shops but you can get pillows from the £ shops and if its suitable could save quite a bit. Probably someone will have already suggested this or is doing it but just a thought Lindaxx And then there was one, Again!!!!

Re: Frugal Filling for CraftersFiller from the craft shops are really expensive when comparing the amount bought to a pillow. I usually use an old pillow that has been given a good wash in the machine with a little vinegar added and keep the new one for the bed. Older pillow filling is usually a bit compacted down, but soon plumps up again with a little teasing.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.
