Old fashioned rusty spring coil for me so eggcup full is a definite under estimate! That the mooncup can cope with what it did is some going.

Gave up an any sort of hormonal treatment as it makes me constantly ravenous and only want to use the bed for sleeping, ideally for 14 hours a day :? Not great for the relationship, really confused>

I wish I just knew how much longer I had to go..........!

As sure as eggs are eggs, as soon as I splashed out and bought one, that would be it!

Helen,

Not enjoying your use of the phrase "splashed out" in this context, really  !!

Go on, woman, just buy one. Even if Mother Nature kicks in straight away (sod's law, really, bound to happen) you'll be the envy of all your friends with your splendid (waterproof and totally leak-free!!) new egg-cup!

Ha ha ha! I had already thought of selling it on ebay Lucy!

Also, CA, I guess the 'eggs are eggs' phrase was quite suitable too!

Pennies are really (no, REALLY) tight at the moment, so it would be a big decision at my age. confused>

Maybe you could buy one on Ebay, assume it is something you can give a jolly good boiling to sterilise it, or ask for one on Freecycle?

I just looked on Ebay, there seem to be quite a few for sale but you would have to know your cup size  A or B

You can find out your cup size by looking on their website. Or on the back of one of the boxes in Boots

Anyone over thirty years old is cup size A. You're only a B if you're under thirty and haven't given birth vaginally. (I wonder what it is that's supposed to happen on your 30th birthday to make you go up a size - I don't remember anything myself, but I've always led a bit of a sheltered life....!).

I'd just like to quote from the Mooncup instruction booklet:

"We do not recommend sharing your Mooncup with another woman".

I can't imagine they'd recommend buying them second-hand. yike*

Then again maybe they just want to sell more. But I wouldn't fancy it myself.
