Do you know any Chicken or other Poultry Breeders
Do you know any Chicken or other Poultry BreedersHi everyone,
You may recall me mentioning that due to various business changes it is no longer possible to share the Poultry Suppliers List with allotment.or.uk (I emphasize no problems, John and myself are the biggest of buddies!!). The long and short of it is that Down the Lane doesn't have them any more. I am at present emailing about 400 Breeders through the UK offering them free listing in new pages I've just set up. Obviously these pages aren't going to appear overnight, but the sooner I can get as many Counties covered the more it's worthwhile Visitors to DTL finding the information they need. Should you know of any Breeders in your area, please let them know. There's no catch, it's completely free of charge and it gives them good advertising on a busy Website. This is the link to see how it's going... http://www.downthelane.net/chicken-breeders-uk/index.php This is the link to give any Breeders.. http://www.downthelane.net/chicken-breeders-uk/breeders-information.php On the first link above you will see I'm putting some of the 'What Chickens Mean to Me' posts, so if anyone hasn't posted in there yet, please do so - it will be used !! Re: Do you know any Chicken or other Poultry BreedersHi,
They're coming along. I added another three Counties so far today making 15 in total, all have at least one Breeder in them. You can of course tell me of a Breeder and I can search it up myself, no problems. Thanks, Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: Do you know any Chicken or other Poultry BreedersHi Richard, this is where we got our first 2 girls. George (the owner) was fantastic and would highly recommend it to anyone

Another place that's good in Buckinghamshire is... http://www.croftersfarm.co.uk/index.htm My usual place for hens and feed in Berkshire... http://www.widgits.co.uk/index.html I'll be popping in to see them next week to pick up some more feed so I'll give them your link Lucy x

Re: Do you know any Chicken or other Poultry BreedersHi,
Thanks, I have emailed to all your suggested Breeders. I think I've now probably sent out 300 plus!! There is a worrying side; many of the websites I go on are now closed down and about one in ten of the emails come back not delivered, guss the weather slowed down the Poultry trade, certainly slowed down the Lane! Now up to 21 Counties with at least one entry. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: Do you know any Chicken or other Poultry BreedersI am old and wise, because I was young and stupid!.
Re: Do you know any Chicken or other Poultry BreedersHi,
Thanks. Up to 23 Counties with at least one entry. Sent another 70 odd emails off earlier. It's surprising how many return Delivery Status Notification though. Seems there's a lot of Breeders packing it in. Pity. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
