I loved her Kitchen and all her bits and pieces, she doesn't even have enough room in her oven to cook a family sized chicken, and I love the way she dresses too, although I doubt I would still look anything like that after cooking {rofwl}

Just watched the first episode on iplayer, really enjoyed it. It looks as though she is cooking on a camping stove. Does`nt she make it all look so easy. going to watch the whole series over next few nights.

Hi

I loved it too she is so beautiful, bless her, with a cute little flat. The only thing I didn't like was the bowl she always used had a big piece out of the enamel, on the inside, it really bugged me and she seemed to use the bowl everytime. It drove me nuts, I am a bit of a germ free adolescent as the song goes. ( Bless her polystyrene passed away not long ago who sang that song) Apart from that Rachel is brilliant, loved her fluency in French then turning to the camera talking in English, she looks like she is living the dream.

Feeling gutted, watched the first episode on i player, went to watch the rest next night and all gone apart from eppisode 6. Have seen her book so might have to twist hubby`s arm and ask him to buy it.

I'd recommend the book - if only for the croque madame muffins: truly easy to make and taste divine!

The recipes demystify French cooking and simplify some glorious recipes. It's a nice slightly twinky read too!

It sits on my cokkery book shelves next to the 'real thing' and will be used to simplify lots of other recipes too!

Just make sure it is a pressie or at least half price!
