I think I have lived a very sheltered life.

If the author says it is badly written...that is enough for me. I know many people who have read it and said the biggest waste of money.......

I've heard mixed reviews, some think it's great and others say it has no story, one person said it's actually portraying women as weak and controlled and therefore degrading to them.....not my opinion as I haven't read it. Might borrow it to read out of curiosity(thats my story!) but not sure I'd want to buy it, and borrowing should be easy as there seem to be so many people reading it!

I've downloaded them on to mu kindle for holiday as well as some other books for back-up (as I really don't think they'll be my cup of tea).

What worries me is that we are holidaying on a boat so there will be lots of ropes, chains etc around so don't want OH to get any ideas about acting it out :oops: {rofwl}

I've just got it on my kindle, however, as I've heard that the 2nd and 3rd books are even better thought I had better get all 3!

Glad I've got in on kindle and not a book, wouldn't want hubby to pick it up and get any ideas :oops:

As a man I am already familiar with the concept of "the dirty book". They live on the top shelf in newsagents. We referred to them as Grot Mags when we were kids.

Good to see someone has worked out a way of marketing them to women.

I read all 3 on my Kindle. Once you get over the novelty value of the more "interesting" scenes, all you;re left with in between is a mediocre 21st-century Mills and Boon style romance.

Back to Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh and Dorothy Sayers for me - ladies who really knew how to write!
Waiting to welcome Sunny Clucker to Northern Ireland!
