As Mad Chick said, "silly boy". He had no hope of winning, in my opinion, but could have still gone to get work, through being on the program.
I think that being a celeb went to his head and he was already trying to live the lifestyle of a rocker. Unfortunately the drinks and dr-ugs lifestyle that he wanted, would have seen his career fizzle out before it properly began.
