Supervet

Post by Trev62 »

We have just found out about this programme (we are well out of touch here!), is this guy clever or what?

Do not think I could ever afford his services though, no.........correct that.......there is no way I could ever afford his services!! Pet Insurance firms must rue it when a client mentions his name :-D

Seriously though he and his staff are amazing in putting animals back together again, it must be a vocation and not just a job when you see what they achieve with their patients.

Does anyone else watch this programme?

I love this programme too but have to say my fav pet/vet show infact my fav show of all time is on at the moment The Yorkshire Vet. They too seem to work wonders with all sorts of creatures in a caring and humouress way. Peter the older vet was trained by James Herriot and it shows.

I consider Noel Fitzpatrick a saint, his affinity with animals is amazing. I love his ethos, every pet that comes into his practice is given the best possible chance, but if he thinks the outcome will not be good, he will say so. I would trust his judgement without question.

I wouldn't be able to afford to pay for my pets to be treated there, but I understand those who would want to do whatever they could for theirs.

Noel is dedicated to his job, he sleeps at the practice, he is on call 24/7. An animal lover who goes the extra mile, in my eyes is a beautiful person. I would marry the guy in an instant.

There is a web site.

Loved the James Herriot series and have in on DVD, his books are a great read as well. I visited "The World of James Herriot" located in Thirsk many times, always an enjoyable day out.

Sandy - can you supply some details of when "The Yorkshire Vet" is on so I can track it down to watch? Thanks

Ilona - Thanks for the link I have spent an enjoyable time reading through it today.

I watch Noel, and think he and his team are amazing. The puppy last week whose lower jaw was almost ripped off was so very moving.

Just watched the episode where he repairs the wing of a buzzard, it is amazing that the buzzard flew again and went back to living free in the wild. Incredible stuff from a talented team at his practice.

Website hints at a Christmas Edition but like you we can find no trace of a programme for next week.
