No! Not paper Logs ......again.

We have had the full evolution of paper log making in this house hold!
Started off with an old pipe and a mallet!! Not good, would never dry out quick enough for us!

So next came (with the help of our trusty blacksmith, £20)
An industrial super duper log maker from hell. 100mm square tube long enough to take 2 rolled up complete newspapers, well dampened, aided by a 3 tonne car jack and hey presto a bit of pumping later and you have got compressed logs that would make a lumberjack turn green with envy. Cardboard works best in this beast!

Will have to put a photo on if I can remember how.

Don't know yet but I think it depends on the consistancy etc.

The first few I made are very light in weight, so I would imagine better for the Rayburn than the open fire.
