Hall Makeover for £63

Post by jannie »

I'm so proud of our hall makeover I thought I'd share .. been planning it for a while but finally got around to doing it this month .. despite being on crutches finally finished the painting a couple of days ago :-D
I had left over chalk paint and wax for the furniture so the whole makeover cost £63 )t'

Beautiful, beautiful!
Bea; 19 hens (most of whom I intended to get); 6 bantams (which I never intended to have); old Benji dog and young Toby dog (who I definitely wanted). Three years into country living and loving it.

Aww thank you all {hug}

I'm going to gloat a bit now Bev .. this was the final job in the cottage :-D .. we renovated it when we bought it as a holiday let as it was derelict .. but since we have moved in we have completely refurbished it again and now it is all finished. )c(

You can do it when you bee and q it {rofwl}

Pine cladding 5 packs @ 5.48 = £27.40
Architrave 2 packs @ 5.74 = £11.48
skirting 2 Packs @ 6.48 = £12.96
Paint for cladding £17.00
Trade pack 6 Evo grip
@ £15.00 used 4 £10.00

Total = £78.84

-20% discount for joining B&Q club = £63.07

The paint for the top half I already had and the slate for the window sills and radiator shelf are left over floor tiles from a rental house.
