Well I only went to co-op to get milk.
But 4pints organic semi skimmed £1.89 twofer £3
And I had a 'spend £4 before Tues, get 40p off' voucher. And a 'spend £10 get £1'
So I was looking for something nice to spend the £1 to make £4
Chocolate cake on offer £2. A 'still fresh' orange sticker on one of them £1.49.
That takes me over the £4.
I like co-op organic cheddar and eat a lot of it (specially when I'm feeding granddaughter). The are 2fer £3. So 4 of them in the basket takes me over the £10
Cheese will last till Easter (oh, no it won't). So my cake only cost 49p - about 8p / portion.
I don't think the Spend £4 voucher will get used though.
