Re: Splitting PalletsI took possession of one of Gareth's pallet dismantling bars today, an I can assure you they really do make short work of 'em! Lots of use-able timber on our lottie at the moment!
Anyone interested might like to pm him. Photo removed for fear of copyright infringement I'd like to live as a poor man with lots of money.

I have had to paint some blue stripes on one of my bars so I don't loose it : I've got so much stuff painted bright yellow around the place, that I need something to catch my eye. Photo removed for fear of copyright infringement Regards

But compare that cost against unlimited free timber............ Vir prudens non contra ventum mingit
Calm down dear ! It's only a forum Re: Splitting PalletsThis isn't a pedantic question- I would really like to know. Why do people have an unlimited supply of pallets? It seems quite a common resource for "those in the know", but surely they are comparitively expensive to produce in the huge quantities that they are used. Do no companies re-use them, or have recycling schemes or whatever?

Re: Splitting Palletsmy husband work security at a large retail shopping centre, most of the companies have to return them sometimes some are slightly damaged and unreturnable so they put them in a separate area to dump, so with permission i have collected load of those
