Telephone Box Recycling

Post by Richard »

Reading the thread in 'Ask Al' about Phone Boxes, I thought I'd do a bit of research to find out if anyone's done anything with them.

Best one I found is this one.......

What a great idea!

{rofwl} Oh I love that. I have a wonderful picture in my head of a bloke carrying a toilet down the road and sneaking inside the phone box with it. It would make a great comedy sketch

That's good Al, I could try that (probably come out as Wonder Woman though yike* )

Not the same Wendy, but if I could afford the phone-box, I couldn't afford the toilet suite, so it would be a bucket (very organic though)

If you were to use it as a toilet would you have to select A or B first?

For those who like to wash, it would make a good shower cubicle.

Totaly Scrambled.

There is a transport cafe in devon that has been using one as a shower for at least 15 years to my knowledge, (when I used it last, so it may be removed by now).

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Not sure that widdling in a bucket is particularly hygienic, imagine all the germs on the handle.

Here's another one....

Phone Box Library

I had a bit of a search round and the going rate for one is about two grand it seems, taty ones about £700.

Apparently, the Shower idea is quite popular - just the right size I guess.
